OverUnder: Football Prediction App

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Device Identifier: A randomly generated anonymous ID stored locally on your device to identify your subscription status and provide personalized service.
• Push Notification Token: If you enable notifications, we collect your device token through Firebase Cloud Messaging to send you match predictions and live signals.
• Purchase Information: When you subscribe to our premium plans, Apple processes the payment. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status, not your payment details.
• Usage and Analytics Data: How you use the app — which screens you open, how long you spend on them, how often you open the app, and in-app actions such as viewing a match detail or opening the subscription screen. Alongside this we record your device model, iOS version, app version, app language, and the country set in your device's region settings. We do not use location services, and we do not collect your precise location.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our service
• To manage your subscription and unlock premium features
• To send push notifications about new predictions and live match signals
• To improve our app and user experience
• To understand which features are used and how, so we can prioritise what to build and fix

3. Data Storage and Security

Your device identifier is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage (UserDefaults). We use Firebase, a Google service, for real-time data delivery and push notifications. Firebase complies with industry-standard security practices.

We do not store personal information such as your name, email address or phone number on any server. Usage and analytics data described above is stored on Firebase servers under your anonymous device identifier only, and cannot be traced back to you as an individual.

Retention: Detailed session records are automatically deleted after 30 days. Only aggregated daily totals, which contain no individual records, are kept beyond that period.

4. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): For real-time database and push notifications. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics for Firebase: For anonymous usage statistics that help us improve the app. It is configured without advertising features and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA). Firebase Privacy Policy

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytical purposes, but this data cannot be used to identify you.

We do not track you. We do not link your data with data from other companies' apps or websites, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers. The app contains no advertising SDKs and never requests the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can view your user ID in the app's Settings screen.
• Deletion: Uninstalling the app will delete all locally stored data, including your device identifier. Detailed analytics records are deleted automatically after 30 days; if you would like your records removed sooner, email us the user ID shown in Settings and we will delete them.
• Opt-out: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
